Emoji Keyboard on top of YouTube full screen

When using the keyboard shortcut ^⌘Space to open Emojis, I can do this over the top of a fullscreen YouTube video. May be the same for other HTML5 players. Its also worth noting the Emoji menu also appears in any application, regardless of wether or not an input is selected.
