Summary: The "Sysdiagnose Logs: Apple Watch" documentation misses an important step which is "Copy Watch Analytics" in Watch app. Steps to Reproduce: Use this documentation: https://download.developer.apple.com/iOS/watchOS_Logs/sysdiagnose_Logging_Instructions.pdf This will never copy the watchOS sysdiagnose archives. After many attempts, I accidentally found "Copy Watch Analytics" in Watch app (General - Copy Watch Analytic), started a sync, and copied the archives (see Radar 33342128). Expected Results: The "Copy Watch Analytics" should be mentioned as it is essential to generate/sync the archives. Observed Results: The "Copy Watch Analytics" is missing, causing lots of attempts without the archives being copied. Version: Notes: Configuration:

what does "Copy Watch Analytics" actually do?
I have found the "Copy Watch Analytics" option in the iPhone app but have no idea what it does. I am getting sysdiagnose from my watch by following the instructions in the quoted PDF without using this option. My problem is that the resulting Log Archive doesn't contain the os_log messages from my watch app, which makes it all a bit of a waste of time. I have raised a bug report.
