Summary:
iPhone 6s does not provide haptic feedback when launching Siri

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hold the Home Button to launch Siri

Expected Results:
The device should produce two small haptic vibrations in the same way that it does when Siri input stops

Actual Results:
The device makes no vibrations when Siri launches / begins listening, but does give feedback when Siri stops listening.

Notes:
This was the behavior in previous versions of iOS and watchOS. Whether it was removed intentionally isn't clear, but I believe it should be restored.

Comments

Closed: Intended behavior

As noted by others:

This inconsistency is only present on iPhone 6s and 7, because these are the devices that support "always listening" Siri. The reason they don't play haptics or sounds to indicate the start of listening is because there is no "start" of listening.
